Sports gambling can be a fun and exciting endeavor for everyone from beginners to seasoned veterans. Having a little action on a game can provide added excitement and if you know what you're doing, put a few extra bucks in your pocket.
However, to the Sportsbooks, you are a number. It is a billion-dollar business and growing every day, because they lure you in with promotions and promises of opportunities that otherwise most people don't have.
We at Picks2click.com believe that the playing field should be level, which sadly, it is not. The Sportsbooks have an army of schills, some obvious, and some not so much. They buy and sell your data, they track your bets, they have super computers that tailor promotions to get you to keep coming back, but they also do things that are far more sinister.
Chances are, if you're reading this, you watch shows like ESPN's Gameday, or NFL Today, or Good Morning Football and the like. I do too. They are entertaining and at times informative about injuries and other pertinent data or stats you may find helpful to form your opinion on which team you may care to make a wager on. Guess what, they aren't on the Up and Up!
Almost every single piece of information they provide you is designed to get you to bet on who they want you to, and most times, it changes mid show. Why? Simple, because Sportsbooks want an even amount of money to be bet on each bet they offer. Every single sports league and team has a deal with a Sportsbook, and in some cases, multiple deals. Take Fox's NFL pregame show. Does anyone really believe that a 3-time Super Bowl winning Coach doesn't know who is going to win a Week 8 matchup if he really breaks that game down? Of course he does, but that may not be the pick he says because money is coming in too heavy on that team, so some bean counting computer nerd from a sportsbook has someone whisper in his earpiece to pick the other team. Problem solved.
Even the stories they run on athletes have ulterior motives. But people watch. A lot of people watch. They are, for the most part, very entertaining with colorful characters, verbose dialogue and heartwarming stories. They pretend to argue to make cases for a prospective team they like that day, but it's a TV show. It is not real. It only exists to be entertaining and to subtly influence you on who to bet on that day. It really is a brilliant plan.
I use football as an example because they drive the gambling bus, but it happens in every sport. It is all an elaborate ruse to keep the money even. Even the print media is all in. They sell advertising to the Sportsbooks on their websites and expect a return on investment. It is all done very subtle, but it is being done. A flattering stat here for this team, an unnamed source with "inside information" on that team. The list goes on. that is why you will never see any ad from any sportsbook on any of our media platforms. We don't want their advertising dollar. We will never become a corporate schill and beholding to anyone but ourselves and our clients.
Why? Because we pick winners, and we can for you too.
Lastly, EVERY SINGLE BEST BET WE PUBLISH COMES WITH A MONEY BACK GUARENTEE!! If it doesn't pay, neither do you.
No fine print, No catch, No Bullshit.
Thanks, and good luck with all your future wagers!
